West Haven
West Haven is the largest town in the Frontier. It started out as a trading outpost, where farmers and merchants could exchange their goods and services. As time went on and more people came to the Frontier looking for a new life, it grew into the largest settlement in the west.
West Haven sits on the southeastern shore of North Blue, one of a pair of twin lakes fed by water from the Red Mountains. Along its southern edge, the town is about 70% finished constructing a stone wall.
Notable Locations
- Church
While a number of gods are worshiped by the people of West Haven, Erastil and Pharasma are the only ones with dedicated temples. The Church of Erastil also acts as a community center, where townsfolk can voice their concerns. It is maintained by Samuel Cohen, who, while not an official leader, serves as a sort of spiritual guide for the community.
- Goblin Town
A small but dense neighborhood, home to goblins who originally came to work on the railroads. Over time, they settled and formed their own distinct community. Locals call it "Goblin Town."
- Library
The only library in any of the Frontier towns. It's maintained by an Aiuvarin named Julian and is almost never visited by locals.
The library is volunteer-run, and Julian also offers reading and writing classes twice a week.
- Dust Watchers Headquarters
Less a formal base and more a large tavern and inn, this location is the only place in the Frontier where it feels like the Dust Watchers are an organization rather than just a gaggle of volunteers.
Members are given free lodging (shared bunks) and one meal a day.
- Market Square
Located near the center of town, the Market Square is where the rest of West Haven has grown outward from over the years.
Here, you can find just about any item of common rarity of 5th level or lower. Additional information about specific shops will be added later
- Black Sword Outpost
Located near the edge of town, this building feels distant from the rest of the community. The Order of the Black Sword, who act as peacekeepers across the Frontier, maintain a notable presence in West Haven.
They have been deputized and serve as the town’s local law enforcement.
Those who are looking to join the order can fill out an application at any outpost.

Located along the shore of North Blue, West Haven’s docks support a bustling fishing industry and steady river traffic. Fishing boats head out daily, supplying fresh catches to the town and beyond.
The docks also serve as a hub for travel and trade, with vessels offering passage to other settlements connected by the region’s lakes and winding rivers. Lumber comes in from the town of salt creek to the north-west.
