Dust and Rust Help

Orcs and Dromaar

Orcs and Dromaar can be found across the Thundervien Plateau, and a few Dromaar can be found amongst human settlements. They live a semi-nomadic lifestyle, and often clash with the elves and dwarves in other regions.

Tribes and Their Traditions

The Orc Tribes each have their own identity and unique traditions, though all share a reverence for strength, resilience, and community.

A few notable Tribes include:

The Skycallers

Known for their shamanic practices, the Skycallers are deeply spiritual, believing they can commune with the storm spirits that rule the plateau. During fierce storms, they perform ceremonial dances and chants atop the cliffs, seeking guidance and strength. Skycaller shamans are highly respected among the clans, often acting as mediators and healers.

The Redfangs

The most martial of the clans, the Redfangs are feared for their relentless combat style and pride in their warrior heritage. They hold ritualistic fighting tournaments during the plateau's storm seasons, where young Redfang Orcs prove their mettle by battling one another and taming wild beasts native to the plateau.

The Stonehoof Clan

Known for their nomadic craftsmanship, the Stonehoofs are exceptional leatherworkers and metalworkers, creating finely crafted armor, weapons, and tools using materials gathered from the plateau. They're also skilled builders, constructing portable shelters and caravans sturdy enough to withstand the plateau's frequent storms.

Each clan is semi-autonomous, led by a Warchief who is chosen based on merit, strength, and wisdom. However, they all participate in the Gathering of Storms, a yearly meeting where the clans come together to discuss territory disputes, alliances, and mutual threats. This gathering is both a political summit and a grand celebration, with feasts, competitions, and ceremonial displays of strength and skill.
