Elves
Lowland Elves are nomadic groups who live in the open fields and scattered forests of the southern Frontier. They travel in small family units, staying hidden and avoiding permanent settlements. Unlike the orc clans of the Thundervien Plateau, Lowland Elves prefer subtlety to strength and rarely reveal themselves to outsiders unless by choice.
Their culture values the land and Ancestors, like the orcs, but emphasizes cunning and spiritual insight. They follow Desna and Calistria, favoring travel, freedom, trickery, and vengeance. Rituals are small, family-centered, and focused on interpreting signs from nature and honoring ancestral spirits.
Violence is avoided when possible. When necessary, they fight with ambushes and traps. They trade on occasion but keep their distance from settlements.
Aiuvarin
Aiuvarin are rare among Lowland Elves. Most are left in human settlements, as elven families believe they'll have better lives among humans. Aiuvarin are often seen as outsiders, challenging traditional values and bloodlines.
One exception is the Elouen family, founded by an Aiuvarin. The Elouen welcome outsiders and have members of many ancestries—elves, humans, orcs, and more. While seen as strange by others, they are respected as peacemakers and bridge-builders between cultures.
