Dust and Rust Help

Urgotha

Goddess of Disease, Undeath, and Gluttony Titles: The Pallid Princess, Lady Despair Symbol: A fly decorated with a skull Favored Weapon: Scythe

Worship in the Frontier

The most common rite is the yearly Festival of the Pallid Feast, where townsfolk prepare a great banquet in the fall. Portions of rotted or diseased meats and grain are offered to Urgotha before anyone else may eat. Frontier folk believe this act helps satiate the dust walkers, keeping them from gathering too close to settled lands.

Followers and Origins

Those who seek her directly rarely do so out of devotion. Her followers are necromancers, gluttons, and the power-hungry who see undeath as a gift. In ancient Azlant, the Runelord of Gluttony is said to have gained his mastery over sin magic through her favor.

Myths and Depictions

According to legend, Urgotha was the first undead. Once a mortal queen who refused the grave, she slew the psychopomp sent to guide her soul and escaped the Boneyard, ascending in defiance of death itself.

Urgathoa is generally depicted as an attractive, pale-skinned, and ebony-haired woman. Unlike mortal women, her flesh begins to rot and wither away at her waist, leaving her as little more than a blood-soaked skeleton from the hips down. She is often similarly manifested, but wearing a loose fitting gown stained with black, brown, and red splotches.
