The Irahllen

The Irahllen are a fierce and secretive elven following that dwell along the edges of the Shattered Lands. Unlike most elven clans who isolate themselves but avoid direct conflict, the Irahllen are hunters—aggressive, territorial, and utterly without mercy. They do not defend their lands passively; they patrol them, seeking out intruders.

Their warriors fight unclothed, their skin painted in vivid red patterns that resemble blood and warding glyphs. This ritual paint is said to honor ancient spirits and to blur the line between elf and ghost. Each carries a long, jagged spear crafted from the claw of a drake, harvested in dangerous rites of passage. These weapons are more than tools—they are symbols of survival and status.

The Irahllen move with uncanny silence, vanishing into stone and mist before a blade can be drawn. Stories from the frontier speak of entire expeditions wiped out without a single cry heard.

Feared across the region, the Irahllen are the primary reason the Shattered Lands remain unexplored. Few dare venture near their territory, and those who do are seldom seen again.
